Why are some lawyers so nasty about Social Security Disability clients?

Statistically, most Disabilty recipients are poor white people, but a former law partner at another firm once asked me, “Can you really make money off those poor black people?” He was incredibly wrong, and it’s good he didn’t handle these kinds of cases.
